If you want to sleep in, does you spouse try to keep things quiet or close the door so you can get your rest or do they seem to make ALL the noise they could possibly make?
Do you give your mate the quiet they need to sleep in?
If you don't try to be as quiet as you can, then why? Why not put forth an effort to let them sleep a little long?
No judgement here. I'm just curious.

We try to be as quiet as we can cuz we're girls. Girls are nice. Boys are mean.

It depends. Most of the time I keep the boys quiet and I stay quiet. If I'm mad at him or tired myself, I let the doors fly! :) HAHAHAHHA.
We both are respectful of each other sleeping in or taking a nap. But if you fall asleep in the living room, forget it! If you want peace & quiet go get in the bed. Thankfully, D can sleep through anything.
